We meet at carefully selected locations around Sydney and beyond, from coastal headlands at sunrise to quiet parkland at golden hour. Each session introduces a new technical concept before putting it into practice in the field.
You will learn how to read weather, use filters, bracket exposures and process raw files to bring out the best in every scene.

Plan shoots around blue hour, golden hour and weather patterns for dramatic results.
Filters & Exposure
Use graduated neutral density and polarising filters to control difficult skies and reflections.
Composition Systems
Apply the rule of thirds, layering, negative space and balance to create calm, impactful images.
Post-Processing
Develop raw files with natural colour, controlled contrast and clean detail.
